I am a procrastinator. A ‘Procrastinatrix’ maybe? I haven’t smoked a cigarette in a month, awesome, yes. I’ve been kinda sorta eating better. Still dicking around with some foods. Prepping for Tough Mudder? And my second Army Ten-Miler?! I need to get on top of that asap. I decided to reread the Paleo Solution for direction. I lost over 40 pounds 7 years ago following Atkins very closely. Having read quite a lot on Paleo nutrition recently, I find it’s very much what I would have gone for had I not found Atkins first, but it’s seriously time to get moving. I’m annoyed with the way my clothes are fitting lately, and I have no excuse for being a lazy ass. I was going to wait longer due to activities I have coming up that guarantee I won’t eat well, but I already know those things will be happening, so I’m thinking it’s better to do what I can right and, knowing those days will be there, keep calm and carry on.

Probable heathen days: July 2nd-uncle’s surprise birthday & July 9th-Belgian beer fest.

I don’t think I’m going to go down the road of posting everything I eat, I’m a pretty boring meal maker during the week, but maybe if I create something delightful I’ll make a record of it for future reference.

As for the physical activity, I really need to get off my ass. I run very infrequently, time to get back to that. I also have no less than 2 dozen different video workout dvds that probably need to be dusted off. I want to get into CrossFit, but with flights and hotel expenses quickly approaching, I don’t think it’s the best financial decision right now. Good food also costs good money, but I remind myself the expense offsets medical bills. And larger sized clothing.
